There is no EU-plug, but only an adapter to the US-plug. And this adapter is square and wont fit in the typical EU-socket. I wont blame the seller, who cannot know that, if noone says it. Additionally, there should be a third wire for the FI-protection, as the lamp has a metal-housing, at least in the swiss comprehension. Finally, the lamp has only 6 watt, what is printed written on the board inside and not the promized 60 and that's anyway a quite huge difference. And the loose trafo in the case hanging just at the wires is wrapped in a ridiculous thin tape of scotch only, what in no way conforms to the electric requests in Switzerland. Nevertheless, I like my three lamps, as better is simply not in sight. And as I mean, it makes no sense to compare it with a kind of ideal case of theory what just is nonpresent in the reality.
